This week’s Meal of the Week recalls my first-ever first class meal on Alaska Airlines.. It was 2007 and I had just finished my bachelor’s degree.
8 hours ago The legroom in Alaska Airlines 737-900 first class is good. Their seats offer over 40 inches of pitch, which is better than American and Delta, on average. Actually, I think this is better than all of American’s aircraft. A mere 36 inches in first class is barely more than Alaska Airlines’ Premium class.

Alaska Airlines has pulled back the curtains on the airlines' new domestic first class seat – in a cabin which the rest of the world knows better as 'business class' – which will be fitted to the airline's 32 new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, due from 2018, and retrofitted to 11 Boeing 737-800 jets.

It was not a big issue since the flight was half empty with several seats in first class open. First class on Alaska’s ERJ 175 is situated in 4 rows of a 1-2 configuration. I had the single seat in the first row, seat 1A which offered limited storage space but had a tad more legroom due to the bulkhead.
Alaska Airlines defines its Premium Class as those seats toward the front of the main cabin. Premium Class seats have 4 inches of additional legroom, include early boarding, and provide complimentary alcoholic beverages.
