PCA TRAINING MANUAL The purpose of this manual is to provide you with the basic information necessary to complete person care skills as required by Department of Human Services Minnesota Rule 9505.0335 (Personal Care Assistant).
Participants will be required to provide their own supplies to complete the hands-on portion of the class. Preferred training should be at your Personal Care Home. Trainings must be completed one at a time. If an individual completes multiple trainings at a time, credit will be denied when the information is reported to OPEN. This training was developed in partnership between the Department of Health and Senior Services and the Department of Mental Health.
