1. Clas 3: Introduction to Chicano/Latino Studies. A three unit class that study the experiences of Chicanos and Latinos in the American society. The class also talks about their role in the American society today and their economic and political status.
2. Engl 20: Introduction to Literature. Before enrolling to this class it is necessary for students that they have taken and passed Engl 5B or Engl 10. The class will be analyzing literatures from both Western and non-Western cultures.
3. FM 120: Social and Psychological Aspects of Clothing. The class is mostly taken by students who are majoring in Fashion Merchandising. The class is only offered during fall semester too.
4. EES 3: Geology Field Trip. A one unit class that is available for both geology major and non geology major. The class goes on weekend field trips on places like Yosemite National Park and Death Valley.
5. Art 106: Art Tours. A three unit class that explores arts available in California. The students will be taking field trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco's art museum.
6. Psych 10: Introduction to Psychology. The class is three units and is not available for students who have taken six units of psychology classes. The class talks about biological and social behavior, principle of psychology and other basic and general topics of psychology.
7. Span 1A: Elementary Spanish. The first class to take in learning Spanish. The class helps students learn the language. It helps students read, write and have conversation in Spanish using the basic knowledge they will learn from this class.
8. WS 10: Introduction to Women's Studies. A three unit class that can be taken to fill up a GE requirement and an introductory class to Women's Studies majors.
9. Culg 152: Techniques for Healthy Cooking. A three unit class that is usually offered in spring semester. The class main goal is to help the student plan the proper meal and learn to modify recipe.
10. PH 100: Community Health. The class helps its student learn health related problem in the community. Students will also learn how to properly approach health problems.
