USC and Notre Dame lead the way among colleges with the most members in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Pictured: Raghib Ismail (Notre Dame), Darren McFadden (Arkansas), Troy Polamalu (Southern California), Joe Thomas (Wisconsin) and Vince Young (Texas) are part of the legendary 2019 College Football Hall of Fame Class announced today by the NFF.
The tradition of announcing the College Football Hall of Fame class in conjunction with the CFP National Championship began in 2015 before the inaugural CFP title game in Dallas.
The National Football Foundation outlines specific criteria that may be used for evaluating a possible candidate for induction into the Hall of Fame. A player must have received major first team All-America recognition. A player becomes eligible for consideration 10 years after his last year of intercollegiate football played.
