Coast all the way down! Improvement Suggestions. It seems odd that workouts do not reward more XP for harder intervals. We would like to see Zwift change this, rewarding (for example) 8XP per minute of Zone 1, 10XP per minute of Zone 2, 12XP for Z3, etc. Zwifters shouldn’t be punished for doing harder workouts, but that is effectively what’s happening with the current system.

How to view Zwift workouts and training plans?

Select a workout category to view the workouts. All workouts and training plans reproduced with permission from Zwift. Select a flexible training plan to view the workouts. All workouts and training plans reproduced with permission from Zwift. Custom workouts created and submitted by other Zwift enthusiasts.

Can you run on Zwift on a treadmill?

For runners, Zwift has added a running option with Free Run and workout modes as well as other running specific features. Treadmill technology hasn’t quite caught up to smart trainers yet, so grade changes based on the terrain or speed changes as part of a structured workout do have to be done manually (for now.)

What happens if you miss a workout on Zwift?

Users have a window of time to complete each workout in a plan. If you miss a workout, the plan automatically adjusts the rest of your training week. However, if you do not complete a workout within that period, that workout goes away and is no longer available.

Are there any different riding modes for Zwift?

There are essentially three different riding modes in Zwift (Just ride, Workout with trainer control, and Workout without trainer control), and each one can play a useful part in your training.
